Cycling through spectacular nature reserve, ethnic villages, rice paddies of Mai Chau and Pu Luong, the best beautiful mountain in Northern Vietnam.

HIGHLIGHTS

You can challenge yourself with an average of 50 km of cycling, 3/5 trail difficulty each day. The cycling distance can be customized and flexible with van supported.
You will see amazing views and transformations of scenery when you cycle through the majestic hills, Mai Chau's terraced rice fields or when cycling along the banks of Hoa Binh Lake. We dive into Ethnic minority villages to explore highland people's lives. Later, we will discover the wonderful scenery with vast rice fields along and the unique limestone topography of Ninh Binh in the Red River Delta.
In the last day, we will take a boat ride along the meandering stream with towering limestone mountain peaks, and row through some limestone caves of Trang An, the world heritage site.
You will have a chance to stay at local homestays and have local food, have time to interact with people here.

8:00 am
Start from the hotel in Hanoi. Today we make our 3 hours drive on the quiet countryside roads, cycling distance can be customized and flexible with van supported.
Lunch stop on our halfway to Mai Chau. Our afternoon cycling up and down hills, and along the Hoa Binh lakes, where you have an amazing view of the peaceful area. Our late afternoon riding downhills to Mai Chau arrive in a tribal village. Dinner and overnight in a local homestay here.
Cycling Distance: about 50 – 80 km

After breakfast, we go for a short car ride then cycle along Ma riverbank... Enjoy our picnic lunch in a local house then challenge ourselves with 12 km cycling up the hill to 650+ m through Pu Luong nature reserve, you can give this a miss by enjoying the views from the van support to the top. Next with the trails down-hill riding with combining a view of the mountain, forest and rice paddies. We arrive in another village for dinner and overnight at a traditional homestay.

Morning in a slow walk around the village to see life going early.
8.00 am
We say good-bye to our host and for our wonderful biking downhill about 35 km with some spectacular views. Bike upload on a van for lunch at a local restaurant before our 2hours transfer to Trang An, the world heritage site.
Upon arrival, we take a boat ride in about 1,5 hours along the meandering stream with towering limestone mountain peaks and row through some limestone caves too.
6:00 pm
We go back to Hanoi.
