This 3-days group/private tour takes you from Hanoi to the stunning Ba Be National Park. Here you can discover Ba Be Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam, which also features incredible biodiversity, stunning geological treasures, and gorgeous primary forests. Hat vacation will take you to explore the virtually untouched natural beauty, including lakes, caves, mountains, and jungles. We offer a three-day tour that includes boating into all the lakes, interest walking and local experience in a traditional stilt house of the ethnic minority.

Below is shared cruise price. Cost is estimated per adult, if you go with children the price will be charged according to the kids price. Make sure to select number of children when you make you make the booking, we will inform you total cost according that.

The Drive

The drive is a bit long but really worth it. Ba Be Lakes is a wonderful place well off the beaten track

Homestay/Guest House

It is very basic and simple with the local style. Meals are Vietnamese foods. If you have any allergies, special requests or if you are on a special diet please let us know. We will arrange it for you in advance.

What To Bring

Passport, change of clothes, sunglasses & hat, toiletries, sun-block, insect repellent, flashlight, good shoes, personal first aid kit & medicines, changed notes in VND for buying drinks if need.

8:00 AM
Pick-up from your hotel and leaving for Thai Nguyen. During the 4 hour drive, we will stop for lunch at a good local restaurant at the townlet.
Around 2PM
We arrive at a Tay minority village inside Ba Be National Park. Check-in our traditional guesthouse and have a short leisurely walk around the park and maybe some swimming if the weather permits. Then a local bike or motorbike ride of 15 km to visit the cave. Back to the homestay for dinner and time for exchanging the culture with a local family.
Driving Distance: about 220 km

Wake up to the natural landscape. Breakfast then start our exploration by local boat. We glide along the lakes, through a pretty cave, and on to a powerful waterfall. The journey offers great natural scenery.
Lunch spot with local food stall then we boat back into the tranquility of Ba Be Lakes.
A chance to have a refreshing swim.
Finish the day and back for dinner. Sleep the second night at the stilt house.

Early morning can capture with lots of good photos of the local life, breakfast served by the locals.
Check-out, and packing our stuff. Say goodbye to our host and ready for our riding toward a tea plantation on way.
Stop for a quick visit, lunch at a local house and taste their homemade tea before the drive back to Hanoi.
Arrive Hanoi around 4 Pm. Ends of our trip.

In some cases, services like hotels, flight fares, require full payment before your arrival, thus your balance must be paid before your arrival to Vietnam. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking without a refund of monies paid.
Balance: Need to be done before you travel or upon your arrival to Vietnam, at our office or via our payment system. Please contact our travel consultant for these details.

– Any time to 45-30 days prior to your departure: please pay 30% of total tour cost,
– 29 to 16 days prior to your departure: You will have to pay 50% of total tour cost
– 15 to 7 days before your departure: You will have to pay 75% of total tour cost

If there is a balance sending back to you after the cancelation fee, you will have to cover the bank fee resulted from our banks here.
For weather conditions, we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative of equivalent quality or a partial refund. No additional compensation will be paid over.
