Cycling is an amazing way to see the countryside and life of the locals of the Mekong Delta region. Cruising down the Mekong Delta’s channels by boat is a great way to relax and lay down on the natural sites. This is your chance to admire the hidden parts of the Mekong.

Below is group price. Cost is estimated per adult, if you go with children the price will be charged according to the kids price. What To Bring

We recommend that riders bring passport, changes of clothes, a small day bag with sun block, sunglasses & hat, insect repellent and camera, personal first aid kit & medicines. Good sport shoes and biking shorts are suggested.

HIGHLIGHTS

During the trip, after cruising along rivers to reach islands of Mekong Delta we start cycling through coconut palms, exploring the orchards and daily life of locals and the colorful picture of trading activities in floating markets.
You will visit a traditional Mekong Delta house & kitchen; indulge in some seasonal fruit along with some local tea and fresh honey and a local rice wine distillery for wine tasting.
The distance is flexible with easy cycling level and a tailored special route plan. Along the route, you pass through villages with brick kilns where terracotta and pottery are made or riding along immense rice fields and through rural riverside villages.
You will have a chance to stay at local homestays and have local food and season fruit and have time to interact with people here.

Ready from the hotel at 8 AM, we head out of the city to My Tho village (about 2 hours). Late morning drifting down the bustling branches of the Mekong Delta and into its tranquil canals. Our first stop is a visit a traditional Mekong Delta house & kitchen; indulge is some seasonal fruit along with some local tea and fresh honey; visit a local rice wine distillery for wine tasting; then paddle one of the small sampans along the smaller waterways. Lunch break and have a short rest. Afternoon we followed by a leisurely bicycle ride (2 hours) on small dirt roads and walking bridges. Passing to a local ferry crossing and then onto to Cai Be where we board a boat to the floating market and cruise over the mighty Mekong River. Then van supports us to Binh Hoa Phuoc & An Binh Island where you can take in a great sunset view from the shores of the Mekong. Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse on the island.

Wake up on your time and have breakfast. This morning we set on the bikes for a 1/2 hour pedal to the ferry crossing for Vinh Long. It’s time to cover some distance, by bike with a tailored special route is planned for this day possibly passing villages with brick kilns where terracotta and pottery are made, or riding along immense rice fields and through rural riverside villages. Lunch en route at local street stall then van supported to Can Tho city. Check-in the hotel and free time. Overnight in hotel.

Wake up early morning and we bike to boat dock for a boat trip to the interesting and chaotic Cai Rang Floating Market, then up a quiet canal for more cruising. Back on the bikes (about 2 hours) to enjoy the beautiful Mekong Delta scenery. Lunchtime before going back to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive hotel around 4:30 pm. Ends of the trip.
