Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi

Welcome to Hanoi, we meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel for check-in. Free on your leisure time and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi countryside by Minsk rider

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning our guide will meet you at the hotel at 8 am and ready by our Vintage Minsk motorbike for our explore Hanoi city included: Parts Unknown & Backstreet Adventures, Hanoi classical Romance & city's highlights, ending with happy hours & Hanoi food culture street. Today is our best experiences of locals. Riding through the amaze of zigzagging backstreet and narrow alleyways, market to see how is the daily life of local people. Here all together with watching, hearing, touching, tasting and smelling... Continue to explore the French Colonial Quarter, vibrant Hanoi Old town include Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, President Palace, Hoan Kiem Lake, Saint Joseph Cathedral, and train tracks. Our last stop with happy hours to explore the Hanoi food culture by around 5-7 food wonders of Hanoi city. Eating at random street-side or at authentic local restaurants. A chance to try with family’s foods and taste unique Egg coffee or Coconut smoothies coffee. This option brings you all in one of Hanoi locals. We end the day at around 3 pm at your hotel. Free evening and overnight in the hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi – Trang An – Bich Dong pagoda, night train to Lao Cai

Depart from your hotel at 8:00 AM and transfer 100 km (2.5 hours) to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, we take a local rowboat trip relaxing on the river to explore the Trang An complex. Meander within the karst landscape and float through some local caves. Lunch will be arranged at the family in the village for local experiences. Afternoon we take the option with short cycling to visit Bich Dong to see the Ancient pagoda. Return to Hanoi around 5:00 PM. Dinner on your own.
At 8:30 PM transfer from a prearranged meeting point to the train station for night train to Sapa. Train boarding is at around 9:10 PM. You are in shared AC soft sleeper cabin.

Day 4: Lao Cai - Sapa, trek to Ta Phin

The train arrives at~ 6:00 AM. Welcomed by our guide and driver. We drive up ~1.5-hour drive to Sapa. Time for breakfast at a local restaurant and have a short rest. At 9:00 AM we take short transfer to the trekking point. Start our day trek to the villages. Chances to meet and talk with locals working in the fields are plentiful. Picnic lunch en route and afternoon we continue trekking ~2 hours to Ta Phin village – home of the Red Dao people. Dinner and overnight in the local family house.
Trekking distance: 8-10 km.

Day 5: Ta Phin and back to Sapa

Great night at a homestay and wake up in a quiet atmosphere. You can join your host family in some of their morning activities such as feeding the animals, gardening or preparing breakfast. After breakfast, we take a short walk from the house down to the place where the van is waiting for us. Drive back to Sapa town (~30mins) to visit Cat Cat village, home of Black H’ mong people. Back in Sapa and check-in hotel. Free evening and overnight in the hotel.

Day 6: Sapa - night train back to Hanoi

Breakfast is served at the hotel. Enjoy the morning activities in the town markets. Option with visit the orchid gardens at Dragon Mountain or go to the Fansipan mountain by Cable car or we may complete another day trek to a hill tribe village. (guests pay for cable car fee).
At 5:30 PM, transfer to the Lao Cai train station and take a night train back to Hanoi. Arrival at about 5:00 AM the next morning.

Day 7: Hanoi – Ha Long, welcome on the boat

Get arrival at Hanoi station at ~ 5:00 AM. Please walk on your own about 5 mins to the pre-arranged hotel near the train station. Shower and basic breakfast.
7:30 AM the driver pick you from the hotel for Halong bay, joined van (about 3 hours). Arrive at the port around noon. Welcomed on board, you have introduced the trip briefing before check-in the room. 13:00 enjoy a fresh and local seafood lunch while cruising to explore the magic Bai Tu Long Bay. Stop for a swim and visit the mysterious cave. Relax at your leisure time or take the option with exploring around by kayak. Time for beautiful sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest dinner.

Day 8: Explore Bai Tu Long bay, back to Hanoi – fly to Hue

Early sunrise chance with the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape with towering limestone. Breakfast is served from 7-8 AM then we take our rowboat by the locals to see the fishing village. Back to the boat and ready for early brunch as we slowly cruise back to boat pier. Get on a van to return Hanoi. Stop at a local village for a water puppet show, a traditional Vietnamese entertainment. Arrive Hanoi around 5:00 PM. Then you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Hue. Overnight in a hotel in Hue city.

Day 9: Hue Imperial city and boat on Perfume River

After breakfast at the hotel. We start our day visit include Hue Imperial Citadel, learn all about the royal kingdom here in the past, also called the Heritage site of Vietnam recognized by Unesco. The next place we will explore the royal tombs: Ming Mang and Khai Dinh before having lunch on Dragon Boat on Perfume River. Time to enjoy the beautiful boat ride along the Perfume River, with a stop at Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue our boat journey downstream with pleasant viewing along the sides of the river. Finish visits and we are transferred back to the hotel. Free evening and overnight in a hotel.

Day 10: Hue – Hoian via Hai Van pass and Marble Mountain

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 am we make a 4-hour transfer to Hoi An. There is fabulous sightseeing en route and we may make stops at Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum, and the Marble Mountains. Arrive Hoi An in the late afternoon. Check-in hotel and free on your own. Overnight in a hotel in the town.

Day 11: Countryside tour & visit ancient town of Hoian

At 8.30 AM, the guide meets you at your hotel and we take a short drive to boat docks, we boat to a fishing village where you see & experience the life of a fisherman here, activities from preparing the fishing tools to go fishing. Followed by a short basket boat row along the village of water coconut before our lunch with a food demonstration. Afternoon option with cycling along the country road through the paddy fields of rice, coconut or corn heading to the main town of Hoian. Return to Hoi An Ancient Town in the afternoon ~4 pm. Free evening and overnight in the hotel.

Day 12: Relaxing day

Breakfast at the hotel then transfers to the airport in Da Nang for flight to Dalat. Upon arrival, airport pick up then transfer to your hotel. Free to chill out on the beautiful flower city. Overnight in hotel.

Day 14: Dalat relaxing day

Today is your whole day relax and enjoy the great atmosphere. Da Lat is the City of Flowers, the land of beautiful flowers. Not only famous for almost travelers but for honeymooners with lovely French villas, the fresh air, the beautiful waterfalls, and gorgeous lakes sit in a lush and green valley of postcard beauty. Come to Dalat, the most romantic place of Vietnam, the great natural landscape that you should not miss.

Day 15: Dalat – fly to HCM City, city tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and we transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival at the airport, we pick you and take you to the city center. Visit the War Remnants Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. We end of the daily activities at the hotel around 5 pm. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel.

Day 16: Countryside cooking class and Cu Chi tunnels

Departing HCM City at 8:00 AM to HCM Agricultural Villages. Arrive at 10:00 AM. Time to visit HCM Agricultural villages with cow areas, buffalo, rice fields, big herbs, vegetable areas, etc. Here we challenge on the Garden become the real Vietnamese farmer on Vietnamese traditional hat. Trying to pick up a lot of herbs or vegetables for ready to cooking class. Our cooking today with three dishes and one dessert. Enjoy what we have done and congratulations on nice certificate, recipes, and souvenirs. Afternoon we visit the Rubber Tree forest to understand how the local people collect the Latex. Our last stop with Cu Chi tunnels. Here we getting to see the tunnels and discover how it was constructed. Time for fun with trying gun shooting with real bullets (fee is not included) then we get on a bus to return to the city. Our day finishes with great unique experience about Vietnamese culture, cuisine, agriculture and history. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel.

Day 17: HCM City – Ben Tre, visit the fertile Mekong delta

After breakfast, we leave the hotel at 8:00 AM to Cai Be. Arrive at 10:30, boarding a boat to visit the floating market and cruise over the mighty Mekong River to a small island. Then we start our walking to visit the village under a green canopy of coconut palms, exploring the orchards and daily life of farmers. Lunch break on the island. Afternoon we are back on the boat to cruise 1.5 hours down the Mekong to the Cho Lach canals. Another short cruise again to Ben Tre for dinner and homestay overnight at a local farmer's house.

Day 18: Ben Tre - HCM City

Breakfast is served at the homestay and then preparations for our day of short cycling around the village. Then we check out and get on the van to continue our route today with along the river, through Ben Tre's coconut palm-lined roads, to Pau for lunch and a taste of seasonal fruit, a coconut candy workshop. A short canal cruise is also part of our day. Transfer back to HCM City and at your hotel around 5:00 PM. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel.

Day 19: HCM City free

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is your whole day relax and free shopping.

Day 20: Departure HCM City

Breakfast at hotel and check out. We say goodbye Ho Chi Minh city and we transfer you to the airport for your departure. End of Vietnam trip and we hope to see you again!

Minimum days to book before departure: 30 days
If you don't have an account, the system will automatically register one for you when you submit a booking form. The account information will be sent to your email.

What is your cancellation policy?
– Any time to 45-30 days prior to your departure: please pay 30% of total tour cost,
– 29 to 16 days prior to your departure: You will have to pay 50% of total tour cost
– 15 to 7 days before your departure: You will have to pay 75% of total tour cost
– 6 to 0 (zero) days before your departure: You will have to pay 100% of your total tour cost.
If there is a balance sending back to you after the cancelation fee, you will have to cover the bank fee resulted from our banks here.
For weather conditions, we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative of equivalent quality or a partial refund. No additional compensation will be paid over.

In some cases, services like hotels, flight fares, require full payment before your arrival, thus your balance must be paid before your arrival to Vietnam. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking without a refund of monies paid.
Balance: Need to be done before you travel or upon your arrival to Vietnam, at our office or via our payment system. Please contact our travel consultant for these details.
How can I make the payment?
We accept paying by credit card both via fax or online. For your protection, we use a very secure online payment, that has never caused us or our clients any trouble. Upon finalizing your tour and travel arrangements with your Hatvacation Travel consultant, we will send you an authorized form to fill out. Once completed fax or email it to us. Alternatively, you can just fill out the necessary information on the payment link we can provide in an email. Then you just pay online.

Tip: Online payment is safe, we will send you a secure link for your payment, however, this will cost you a small extra charge as the banks take a small percentage. If you do not like giving your credit card online, you can wire money to our bank account.
