The homestay condition is very basic. The homestay will give you the opportunity to connect with the local culture, as you will stay with a family of an ethnic minority and receive your dinner from them.

Foods

The breakfast will be either a choice of Western-style meals such as pancakes or toasts or Vietnamese meals. For lunch and dinner included will be arranged with local Vietnamese cuisine.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai - Bac Ha market - Sapa

8:00 pm
The previous night, we meet you at your hotel for your transfer to the Tran Quy Cap train station for boarding to Lao Cai. Share an AC soft sleeper cabin and travel North to Lao Cai.
6:00 pm
Welcomed by our guide and take to a local restaurant for breakfast. After that, we make a 2.5-hour transfer to Bac Ha town where has Bac Ha special Sunday market.
With respect to the locals here and ask permission before you take a photo of anyone. Lunch in Bac Ha on your own account then we will drive to Sapa town for hotel check-in. Free evening and overnight in hotel

Day 2: Sapa, trek to Ta Phin village

Having breakfast at the hotel and we wander around the town as you wish.
10:00 am
Check out and we ready for our daily trek to TaPhin village. Chances to meet and talk with locals working in the fields are plentiful. Picnic lunch en-route then continue trekking to Ta Phin village – home of the Red Dao people. Dinner and overnight here.

Day 3: More in Ta Phin–Sapa – Lao Cai for night train to Hanoi

Time to join in preparing foods if you want to know how the local people do for their daily breakfast.
After breakfast, we take a short wander around the village or spend more time enjoying the view and company at the homestay.
Then, we get on the van back to Sapa town. Time for free visit market and shopping. Lunch on your own account.
In the afternoon we visit Cat Cat village, home of Black H’mong.
Late evening transfer back to Lao Cai station. Dinner on your own before we get the night train back to Hanoi.
8:30 pm
The train leaves, you share the cabin of 4 people, a soft sleeper with A/C cabin.
5:00 am
We arrive Hanoi the next morning. Ends of this trip.

Sure! We will send you a detailed itinerary base on your request.
What is your cancellation policy?
– Any time to 45-30 days prior to your departure: please pay 30% of total tour cost,
– 29 to 16 days prior to your departure: You will have to pay 50% of total tour cost
– 15 to 7 days before your departure: You will have to pay 75% of total tour cost
– 6 to 0 (zero) days before your departure: You will have to pay 100% of your total tour cost.
If there is a balance sending back to you after the cancelation fee, you will have to cover the bank fee resulted from our banks here.
For weather conditions, we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative of equivalent quality or a partial refund. No additional compensation will be paid over.
What is the  Deposit & Balance policy?
Deposit: An advanced deposit from 30- 50% of the total cost is required to guarantee your booking. If your booking is too close to the departure date (normally 30 days) we may need more deposit or required the full payment in advance
In some cases, services like hotels, flight fares, require full payment before your arrival, thus your balance must be paid before your arrival to Vietnam. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking without a refund of monies paid.
Balance: Need to be done before you travel or upon your arrival to Vietnam, at our office or via our payment system. Please contact our travel consultant for these details.
How can I make the payment?
We accept paying by credit card both via fax or online. For your protection, we use a very secure online payment, that has never caused us or our clients any trouble. Upon finalizing your tour and travel arrangements with your Hatvacation Travel consultant, we will send you an authorized form to fill out. Once completed fax or email it to us. Alternatively, you can just fill out the necessary information on the payment link we can provide in an email. Then you just pay online.

Tip: Online payment is safe, we will send you a secure link for your payment, however, this will cost you a small extra charge as the banks take a small percentage. If you do not like giving your credit card online, you can wire money to our bank account.
