Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, you are welcomed at Noi Bai airport and we take you to the hotel. Check-in and free at your leisure time. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi free and city tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free on your own walking around. Afternoon at 2 pm our guide will see you at the hotel lobby and we start our day visit Hanoi city. The first stop with Van Mieu, the Temple of Literature. This is also the first University of Vietnam. Next place we will go to the Old Quarter for walking around to see the unique architecture of the house’s style. Time for drinking local Vietnamese coffee such as Egg coffee or Coconut coffee. Option with electric car driving to have an overview of the shopping streets and daily life of the local people in the small old town. The last with tasting some local foods at local restaurants on the streets. Time for chatting and back to the hotel as you wish. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi - day trip to Trang An & Hoa Lu, night train to Lao Cai

Breakfast at the hotel. We leave at 8:00 AM to Ninh Binh city, 100km ~2.5-hour drive. Upon on arrival, we walk to visit Thai Vi Temple which is one of the well-known temples in Ninh Binh. Then time for lunch at a local family to have more tasty of the locals. Afternoon we take our local bike to ride to Thung Nham, passing along the river among the rice field, lotus ponds, and Limestone Mountains. Then we continue to ride to discover Dan Khe Trong village where you can see the real picture of the rural countryside in Northern Vietnam. Our last part with a relaxing time on a local rowing boat on Thung Nham river. Return to the harbor and get our bike back to the meeting point. Get on the bus and return to Hanoi. Arrive at Hanoi city around 5 pm. Dinner on your own before we take a night train to Lao Cai.
Train leaves at 21:00 on soft sleeper with A/C. Overnight on train.

Day 4: Lao Cai - Sapa, trek to Ta Phin

We arrive in the morning at around 6:00 AM. Welcomed by our guide and driver at the train station and we make an hour drive to Sapa town. Time for breakfast and short breakfast then we ready for our daily trek to the villages Today is our chances to meet and talk with locals working in the fields are plentiful. Picnic lunch en-route then continue trekking to Ta Phin village – home of the Red Dao people. Dinner and overnight in the local family house of Dao people.

Trekking distance: 8-10 km (4-5 hours)

Day 5: Sapa – Lao Chai - luxury bus transfer back to Hanoi

Wake up in the sounds of morning village life. You can attend to support the host family in preparing breakfast or do some gardening works. After breakfast, we say goodbye the family and walk to the van spot. We are supported by our van in an hour to Lao Chai village where we have short trek down to the Lao Chai town. Lunch in Lao Chai at a local restaurant. Afternoon we take our luxury bus via the new highway road in 5 hours driving back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi in around 8:30 pm. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Hanoi – Ha Long, welcome on boat

7:45-8:00 AM the driver pick you from the hotel for Halong bay, joined van (about 3 hours). Arrive at the port around noon. Welcomed on board, you have introduced the trip briefing before check-in the room. 13:00 enjoy a fresh and local seafood lunch while cruising to explore the magic Bai Tu Long Bay. Stop for a swim and visit the mysterious cave. Relax at your leisure time or take the option with exploring around by kayak. Time for beautiful sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest dinner.

Day 7: Explore Bai Tu Long bay, back to Hanoi

Early sunrise chance with the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape with towering limestone. Breakfast is served from 7-8 AM then we take our rowboat by the locals to see the fishing village. Back to the boat and ready for early brunch as we slowly cruise back to boat pier. Get on a van to return Hanoi. Stop at a local village for a water puppet show, a traditional Vietnamese entertainment. Arrive Hanoi around 5:00 PM. Then you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Hue. Overnight in a hotel in Hue city.

Day 8: Hue Imperial city and boat on Perfume River

After breakfast at the hotel. We start our day visit include Hue Imperial Citadel, learn all about the royal kingdom here in the past, also called the Heritage site of Vietnam recognized by Unesco. The next place we will explore the royal tombs: Ming Mang and Khai Dinh before having lunch on Dragon Boat on Perfume River. Time to enjoy the beautiful boat ride along the Perfume River, with a stop at Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue our boat journey downstream with pleasant viewing along the sides of the river. Finish visits and we are transferred back to the hotel. Free evening and overnight in the hotel.

Day 9: Hue – Hoian via Hai Van pass and Marble Mountain

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 am we make a 4-hour transfer to Hoi An. There is fabulous sightseeing en route and we may make stops at Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum, and the Marble Mountains. Arrive Hoi An in the late afternoon. Check-in hotel and free on your own. Overnight in a hotel in the town.

Day 10: Country side tour & visit ancient town of Hoi An

At 8.30 AM, the guide meets you at your hotel and we take a short drive to boat docks, we boat to a fishing village where you see & experience the life of a fisherman here, activities from preparing the fishing tools to go fishing. Followed by a short basket boat row along the village of water coconut before our lunch with a food demonstration. Afternoon option with cycling along the country road through the paddy fields of rice, coconut or corn heading to the main town of Hoian. Return to Hoi An Ancient Town in the afternoon ~4 pm. Free evening and overnight in hotel

Day 11: Hoi An – fly to Dalat

Breakfast at the hotel and you have a free day. Afternoon we transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Dalat. Upon arrival, airport pick up then transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Dalat relaxing day

Today is your whole day relax and enjoy the great atmosphere. Da Lat is the City of Flowers, the land of beautiful flowers. Not only famous for almost travelers but for honeymooners with lovely French villas, the fresh air, the beautiful waterfalls, and gorgeous lakes sit in a lush and green valley of postcard beauty. Come to Dalat, the most romantic place of Vietnam, the great natural landscape that you should not miss

Day 13: Fly to Ho Chi Minh city

Breakfast at hotel and enjoy the last moment of the beautiful place. Check out and afternoon we take a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival at the airport, we pick you and take you to the city center. Visit the War Remnants Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. We end of the daily activities at the hotel around 5 pm. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel

Day 14: Countryside cooking class and the Cu Chi tunnels

Departing HCM City at 8:00 AM to HCM Agricultural Villages. Arrive at 10:00 AM. Time to visit HCM Agricultural villages with cow areas, buffalo, rice fields, big herbs, vegetable areas, etc. Here we challenge on the Garden become the real Vietnamese farmer on Vietnamese traditional hat. Trying to pick up a lot of herbs or vegetables for ready to cooking class. Our cooking today with three dishes and one dessert. Enjoy what we have done and congratulations on nice certificate, recipes, and souvenirs. Afternoon we visit the Rubber Tree forest to understand how the local people collect the Latex. Our last stop with Cu Chi tunnels. Here we getting to see the tunnels and discover how it was constructed. Time for fun with trying gun shooting with real bullets (fee is not included) then we get on a bus to return to the city. Our day finishes with great unique experience about Vietnamese culture, cuisine, agriculture and history. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel.

Day 15: HCM City to the fertile Mekong Delta (Ben Tre – Vinh Long)

After breakfast, we leave the hotel at 8:00 AM to Cai Be. Arrive at 10:30, boarding a boat to visit the floating market and cruise over the mighty Mekong River to a small island. Then we start our walking to visit the village under a green canopy of coconut palms, exploring the orchards and daily life of farmers. Lunch break on the island. Afternoon we are back on the boat to cruise 1.5 hours down the Mekong to the Cho Lach canals. Another short cruise again to Ben Tre for dinner and homestay overnight at a local farmer's house.

Day 16: Ben Tre - Chau Doc

Breakfast is served at the homestay and then preparations for our big day of transfers. Our route today takes us along the river, through Ben Tre's coconut palm-lined roads, to Pau for lunch and a taste of seasonal fruit, a coconut candy workshop. Lunch sport at local restaurant and afternoon we make 3-4 hour transfer to Chau Doc town, where we have the night stay here

Day 17: Chau Doc – Speed boat to Phnom Penh

After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to the boat pier for our speedboat at 7:30 AM to Phnom Penh. Get arrival around 1:30 PM. You are welcomed at the boat dock and we take you to the hotel. Check-in and have leisure afternoon. Overnight in hotel in Phnom Penh city Note: Visa on arrival at Cambodia border costs ~ 35 USD. Remember to bring your passport photo (3x4 cm).

Day 18: Phnom Penh city tour, fly to Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. We start from the hotel at 8:30 to visit the city. Our first place with very famous Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Independence Monument, and National Museum. Pass by the riverfront park and capture photographs of Watt Phnom, Watt Phnom Daun, and Penh pagoda. Late afternoon we take a flight to Siem Reap. Airport pickup and we transfer you to hotel. Check-in and overnight in hotel.

Day 19: Siem Reap, visit Angkor temples

Today our schedule is flexible and we will visit the city include the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th-century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Day 20: Siem Reap – Fly to Luang Prabang, Laos

Breakfast at your hotel. We take a morning flight to Luang Prabang. Upon on arrival, you are welcome at the airport and we transfer 45 minutes to the hotel. Check-in and free time.

Day 21: Luang Prabang Discovery

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we start at 8:30 to explore the tranquil and charming town of Luang Prabang. First visit to the National Museum (closed Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, the impressive Stupa of Watt Visoun and the shrine of Watt Aham at Watt Mai. The continue discovering with the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa with a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong river. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the hill tribe and local people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 22: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou cave

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 23: Departure Luang Prabang

Breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight you may have some more time for shopping. Then we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.

How can I book a tour?
You can make a tour booking via our advanced booking system. It is very easy to manage all your booking status, booking history, personal information, wishlist, inbox, and cancellation. Please contact us directly for any amendments, that way we can advise you to help you enjoy the best service that meets your needs. Cancellation follows our Cancellation policy.

Minimum days to book before departure: 30 days
If you don't have an account, the system will automatically register one for you when you submit a booking form. The account information will be sent to your email.

What is your cancellation policy?
– Any time to 45-30 days prior to your departure: please pay 30% of total tour cost,
– 29 to 16 days prior to your departure: You will have to pay 50% of total tour cost
– 15 to 7 days before your departure: You will have to pay 75% of total tour cost
– 6 to 0 (zero) days before your departure: You will have to pay 100% of your total tour cost.
If there is a balance sending back to you after the cancelation fee, you will have to cover the bank fee resulted from our banks here.
For weather conditions, we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative of equivalent quality or a partial refund. No additional compensation will be paid over.

In some cases, services like hotels, flight fares, require full payment before your arrival, thus your balance must be paid before your arrival to Vietnam. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking without a refund of monies paid.
Balance: Need to be done before you travel or upon your arrival to Vietnam, at our office or via our payment system. Please contact our travel consultant for these details.
How can I make the payment?
We accept paying by credit card both via fax or online. For your protection, we use a very secure online payment, that has never caused us or our clients any trouble. Upon finalizing your tour and travel arrangements with your Hatvacation Travel consultant, we will send you an authorized form to fill out. Once completed fax or email it to us. Alternatively, you can just fill out the necessary information on the payment link we can provide in an email. Then you just pay online.
