This 3 days/2 nights tour is a perfect combination of trek and culture while visiting hill tribe villages at a pace and special style with a medium hike, off the beaten track to the beautiful parts of Sapa – Y Ty and northern Vietnam.

Below is group price. Cost is estimated per adult, if you go with children the price will be charged according to the kids price. Train

The night trains are a soft sleeper, air-conditioned trains. The breakfast will be either a choice of Western-style meals such as pancakes or toasts or Vietnamese meals. Please be aware that trains are subject to availability. When trains are canceled or delayed, we will endeavor to secure alternative arrangements of similar value.

Hotel

We use a 3-star standard hotel, twin shared room. An upgrade is available on request.

Homestay/Guest House

The homestay condition is very basic. The homestay will give you the opportunity to connect with the local culture, as you will stay with a family of an ethnic minority and receive your dinner from them.

Foods

The breakfast will be either a choice of Western-style meals such as pancakes or toasts or Vietnamese meals. For lunch and dinner included will be arranged with local Vietnamese cuisine

Trekking & Cycling Times

The trekking time is approximate and depends on the weather and the walking speed. The trek demands some experience in co-ordination, fitness, and stamina. The great effort will be rewarded with fantastic views. Clients should have previous trekking experience. Nevertheless, our guide will be flexible to suggest you the most proper trekking route adapted to your physical fitness.

What To Bring

Passport, change of clothes, sunglasses & hat, toiletries, sun-block, insect repellent, flashlights, proper hiking boots/shoes, personal first aid kit & medicine, small VND notes for buying drinks. If you feel the need, you can bring along a luggage lock for your belongings.

8:00 pm
We transfer you from meeting point to the Tran Quy Cap train station for boarding to Lao Cai. You share an A/C soft sleeper cabin and us overnight on train.
6:00 am
In the next morning, you are welcomed by our guide and take to local restaurant for breakfast.
After that, we make 2 hours transfer to Y Ty area.
Then do a short walk for about 3 km to visit the village of the Black Hmong people. You have a picnic lunch here.
In the afternoon we have a short drive through the beautiful terraces of rice combining easy trek of about 4 km to visit the Ha local village to see the house architecture. Dinner and spend the night with the black Hmong family in the village.

Enjoy the local breakfast with the family.
8:00 am
We drive through the hidden beautiful parts of Lao Cai area. Stop en route for some more walks down to the old forest and visit to a plantation of the herbal tree. Another option to visit to the Black Hmong people, have lunch here and then we drive by passing a waterfall. You have time to take pictures then we return to Sapa.
Check-in hotel and overnight in hotel.

Breakfast is served at the hotel.
Today is your whole day free to explore Sapa town. A suggestion with a visit the local market, Sapa Church or take a cable car to the Fansipan mountain.
In the late afternoon, we take you from the hotel to Lao Cai Train station.
8:30 pm
Get night train and back to Hanoi. Overnight on train, a soft sleeper with A/C.
5:00 am
We arrive Hanoi in the next morning.
